Have the Steven Harris Family Preparedness Class in your town.  Especially East of the Mississippi.  Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and some of the New England States are an easy day's travel for me. Class can be for small groups or families or for groups as large as 200 people.  Prices VARY according to time, distance, length of class, items supplied during the class, number of days for the class etc...   Our classes are HANDS ON and use everyday items and things to allow you to be a SPECTATOR in the disaster, rather than a Participant.  Participants are either victims (dead) or survivors.

August 22nd, 2009.  Virginia Beach / Chesapeake VA.   Hilton Garden Inn.  9am to 5pm All day class. 
Pre-Hurricane Preparedness focus.  Extensive food, water and energy.  Books, Class manual and other items supplied.
$100 / person $150 / couple. ( and worth every darn penny ).


August 29th, 2009.  New York / New Jersey / Philadelphia corridor (location still forming).  Noon - 8pm.
Time is based on allowing people easy travel to the class, and travel back home that night or the next day.

for Pittsburgh 9.12 Group.  This is the ALL Day Family Class.  Covering Food and Energy extensively. 
Class manual and other books are take home items.  Price is so much less because we are in a charge meeting facility and there is already over 100 people signed up.

ABOUT THE COST OF THE CLASS
Its NOT about the money, its about helping people.  I have to keep our doors open and the mortgage paid, the websites running.  We bring a LOT of stuff to a class, this is NOT death by powerpoint.  Its HANDS ON.  Everyone gets FED in the class, and quickly.  Hotel Conference failities can add a lot to the cost and the logistics and time involved in scheduling and coordinating such an event is not insignificant.  Other companies will charge $500 to $1000 per person per day for special survival classes.  We also try to have as much enabling material, books, lesson plans, details etc for each person to take home.  We are all about enabling you.   Do not think I'm rolling in money from the class and buying luxery vehicles.  I'll show up in a 2001 Dodge Diesel w/ a 28 foot trailer, stay in the same hotel as you etc...
